Managing Your Aircraft
Add, update, and maintain aircraft records, including maintenance tracking and availability.
Hangar Overview
The Hangar section displays all aircraft associated with your club. From here, you can add new aircraft or edit and remove existing ones.
The Aviation Pal tracks the following aircraft metrics:
- Status
- AF Hours
- Engine 1 (E1) Hours
- Engine 2 (E2) Hours
- Landings
- E1 Cycles
- E2 Cycles
- Hobbs Time
- Notes
Aircraft can have one of three status levels:
- Up – Aircraft is available for booking
- Caution – Aircraft may have minor issues or pending checks
- Down – Aircraft is grounded and unavailable
To update aircraft details or change its status, click the "Update" button for the respective aircraft to access the aircraft detail page.
The "Notes" field can be used to add relevant information, such as maintenance needs or pilot advisories.
Aircraft History
Each time an aircraft is updated, a new history record is created. This includes changes to status, AF hours, E1/E2 hours, landings, cycles, and Hobbs time.
You can view the full history by clicking the three-dot menu () on the aircraft card and selecting History.
